A new tool for presenting

I play with new software and online tools all. the. time.

My email inbox hates me.

But, I think it's important as a digital entrepreneur to constantly be learning and trying new strategies with new tools. This activity is often very clarifying in the midst of trying to figure something out.

Anyways, I don't have that moment of "awe" anymore - at least not with any regularity.

I miss it.

There are too many pieces of good software to really appreciate the great ones...I feel that music is reaching this point as well to a degree. So saturated that it's difficult to sit back and say "wow".

I had a "wow" moment the other day - want to join me (5min)?

Don't read this if you haven't watched it. C'mon, allow yourself to be distracted by something cool for a few minutes and then come back here.

If you have ever presented before, whether in person or digitally, then I hope you just had a "wow" moment too. I think mmhmm (the quality of the name is up for debate haha) is a perfect leap forward, and they will iterate and enhance significantly over the next 12 months.

I cannot tell you how many of my friends have shared that they've hit their capacity of boring Zoom meetings. The eye glaze, the screen sharing...very repetitive. Let's also remind ourselves that remote work is here to stay, whether that be a hybrid model or altogether absent of physical offices.

Moment of silence for our commercial real estate friends. Okay, thanks.

It's incredible how many components of the business world, in a general sense, have gone unchanged for many years. I'm personally still baffled that something like Microsoft Excel still has such a stronghold in the marketplace.

For me, mmhmm is a breath of fresh air and I can't wait to test the limits. Do you think you'll try it out?
